• Review VAT returns, challenge data, and provide accurate analysis to support business and compliance decisions.
• Liaise with local entity controllers, the Budapest VAT team, and international advisors to respond to tax authority requests and ensure timely compliance.
• Advise on VAT/GST implications for firm structures, projects, and operational initiatives, including commodities invoicing and e-invoicing developments.
• Support ad hoc queries from Business Units, Finance, and the Indirect Tax team, providing expert guidance where required.
• Assist with VAT registrations, amendments, deregistrations, and reverse charge decisions across multiple regions.
• Contribute to process improvement and procedural enhancements for the Indirect Tax function.

What you bring

• 3-5 years' experience in Indirect Tax and VAT, ideally in financial services.
• Advisory experience providing guidance to business teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
