Financial Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group are supporting a fantastic organisation based in Surrey who are recruiting a Financial Accountant to provide interim support while they recruit on a permanent basis. Ideally qualified, you will assist in delivering technical financial accounting support, managing capex and fleet accounting processes.

What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

• Provide technical accounting support, draft accounting papers, review statutory accounts, support auditors and apply IFRS 15 & 16 knowledge in practical scenarios.
• Manage all aspects of capex, hire purchase, and fleet accounting, including approvals, asset setup in SAP B1, monthly reporting, depreciation, disposals and integration of acquisition assets.
• Prepare and monitor capex and lease budgets, track actuals vs. forecasts, produce group cash flow forecasts.
• Act as finance business partner to operational teams, maintain strong communication across IT, Finance and Fleet, support system improvements and provide guidance on financial processes.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP B1 and financial systems desirable.
• Flexible, proactive, collaborative and excellent communicator.
