Are you a finance professional who is keen to learn and develop? We re looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to support with bank reconciliations, financial controls and audit processes, playing a key role in helping us help more dogs and their owners.
What does this role do? As Assistant Financial Accountant, you ll:
Ensure the timely, smooth running of financial accounts, completing bank reconciliations, VAT returns and other reconciliations,
Support the Financial Accounting Manager with end-of-year accounts, working closely with auditors to successfully complete accounts, delivering high quality, accurate work during this pinch point ,
Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to resolve issues with accounts and improve processes.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 6th May 2026 and will take place on Teams.
Could this be you? To be successful in this role, you ll need some financial accounting experience, with strong Excel skills, and ambition to grow and develop in an exciting role. You ll need excellent attention to detail, experience of communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, and the ability to work autonomously and on your own initiative. A passion for dogs and the work we do is essential.
