Description:	We are working with a well-established manufacturing business that is recruiting a Management Accountant to join its existing finance team. This is a varied role offering involvement across multiple areas of finance, including the support of other companies within the group. Key responsibilities for the Management Accountant will include preparing month-end management accounts, cashflow forecasting, costing, and supporting payroll. Candidates must be willing to travel to other UK sites approximately two days per month. Job Description for the Management Accountant: Cost analysis and control, including margin tracking by contract, customer, and product line Performing variance analysis on production costs against standard budgets to highlight efficiencies and areas of waste Managing inventory including stock reconciliations and ensuring accurate valuation within Sage 50 Preparation of month end management accounts Cashflow forecasting Balance sheet reconciliations Preparing information for payroll Candidate Requirements for the Management Accountant: Experience working in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment Payroll experience is essential Must be confident with costings Be prepared to travel to other sites when required Experience using Sage is preferable Ideally part-qualified This role is commutable from: Stafford, Eccleshall, Penkridge, Rugeley, Trentham, Stone and surrounding areas Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00 am 5:00 pm Friday 8:00 am 12:00 pm (Friday is working from home) Salary: £40,000 Per Annum Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
