Description

• Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Monitor and improve financial controls and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

• Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience within Accounting & Finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
