What You ll Be Doing

As a Trainee Paraplanner, you ll work with experienced paraplanners and financial planners to learn how great advice is built from research and report writing to client interaction and regulatory standards. You ll:

• Draft basic suitability reports (e.g., withdrawals, top-ups, switches, Bed & ISA).

• Learn how to conduct fund analysis and calculate relevant tax figures.

• Collect required documentation including illustrations and application forms.

• Liaise with clients and professional contacts under supervision.

• Support the implementation of advice and ensure key compliance requirements are met.

What You ll Bring

We re not looking for the finished article we re looking for potential, drive, and a great attitude.

• Some experience in financial services (admin, support, or customer-facing roles welcome).

• You ve made a start on your Level 4 Diploma (at least 1 2 modules completed).

• An eagerness to build technical knowledge in pensions, investments, and tax planning.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to stay organised.

• A desire to grow within a structured, supportive training environment like the Radiant Academy.

• A team mindset and strong attention to detail.
