Description

• Maintaining vendor accounts.
• Processing of purchase orders, goods received notices & supplier invoices.
• Production of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc multi-currency payment runs.
• Production of the weekly payment run during apple season.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Reviewing aged creditors, resolving aged and incorrect items and controlling the month end closing process.
• Reconciliation of insurance, council tax and all other standing order accounts.
• Ensuring supplier queries are dealt with in a timely manner and resolved correctly and efficiently.
• Filing of invoices and remittances.

Profile

A successful AP Controller should have:

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Previous experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from 28,000 to 32,000 per annum.
