Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager

A Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager is required with a leading Accountancy firm in Norwich. You will be a key player in the tax team, providing expert tax advice and assistance to our clients.

You will manage and supervise staff, ensuring that the firm's high standards of service are maintained. Your role will involve assisting with various projects, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and developing new strategies to optimise your client's tax position.

Job requirements

• CTA Qualified or equivalent experience of working in a tax environment
• Practical experience with OMB tax issues includes income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
• Can use quick and clear thought to identify multiple solutions
• Demonstrate a "can do" approach to problem-solving
• Excellent client service and communication skills, including the ability to tailor your approach provided depending on the specific client.

• Present solutions to complex technical issues. Develop solutions in your service area
• Understand the firms' products and services. Participate in cross-selling and business development activities
• Build rapport with clients. Meet their demands and provide creative tax solutions
• Plan and perform tax consultancy assignments. Prepare and file requests while acting as the first point of contact for all queries.
• Adhere to risk management processes. Ensure compliance with internal procedures
• Ensure timely billing. Manage work in progress to meet recoverability goals
