Finance Business Partner - Hybrid from Abingdon - Up to £65,000
Role Overview This position sits at the heart of the Technology organisation, providing financial insight, challenge and forward-looking analysis. You'll work with large datasets, build financial models, support business cases and help the CTIO understand the financial implications of key decisions.There is also scope to get involved in project accounting, supporting the financial governance of major Technology initiatives and helping the business maximise value from its investment. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary finance partner to the CTIO and Technology leadership team
Provide financial insight across a large portfolio of Tech projects (Capex & Opex)
Build financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning and business case development
Identify cost efficiencies, operational improvements and opportunities to optimise spend
Support project accounting activities and financial governance
Lead monthly reporting for the Technology function, including variance analysis and commentary
Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning cycles
Analyse large datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insight
Help drive continuous improvement across processes, reporting and financial controls
Skills & Experience
Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong stakeholder-management skills with experience influencing senior leaders
Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
Ability to challenge constructively and support decision-making
Interest in project accounting and transformation activity
Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
