Your New Role In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of a range of transactional finance duties to support the smooth running of the finance department. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing high-volume transactional invoices
Managing internal recharges and supplier payments
Handling employee expenses and general financial administration
Maintaining and updating the purchase ledger
Supporting VAT return preparation
Ensuring accurate financial data entry and supporting month-end processes
This is an office-based position working closely with the wider team, offering exposure across different areas of finance. What You'll Need to Succeed
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Accounts Technician role
Strong background in transactional finance and purchase ledger
Experience using Sage 200 (highly desirable)
Understanding of VAT returns
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator and proactive team player
