We're working with a long-established independent firm based on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, a practice with a strong identity, a loyal client base, and a leadership team that genuinely values the people who help drive the business forward.The firm is continuing to grow and evolve, and they're now looking to appoint an Audit Responsible Individual (RI) who wants to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of their audit offering.
Your new role
This is a role with real influence. The successful candidate will help define how the audit function operates, contribute to strategic decision-making, and work closely with a supportive leadership team that welcomes fresh thinking. You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio and help develop a motivated and capable audit team.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA qualified with RI status (or ready to step into it)
• Strong technical grounding and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Confidence managing complex assignments and leading teams
• A collaborative style and willingness to contribute to wider firm development
