The role reports to the Finance Manager and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial stability and efficiency of the organisation.
Our client encourages applications from Ex-Military personnel, however all candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies.
Preparing and processing invoices, expense claims, and payment runs.
Assisting with payroll data and financial reporting requirements.
Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
Ensuring compliance with financial policies and relevant legislation.
Maintaining organised and secure financial documentation.
Supporting audits by providing required financial information.
Monitoring cash flow and highlighting any issues or risks.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
