Description

  • Manage and oversee all financial reporting and month end activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for review by senior management.
  • Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimise financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements within the organisation.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience
  • Proven experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
