Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will

• Lead key aspects of the month-end process, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting is accurate
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors during year-end
• Maintain oversight of balance sheet integrity, investigating and resolving variances

Requirements

As a Financial Accountant you will need

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or finalist level with relevant experience)
• Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Strong understanding of month-end, reporting, and balance sheet management
