Management Accountant

This is a newly created position for a fully qualified Management Accountant to join a well established and growing firm at their Wimbledon office. This role is 5 days a week in the office and pays £55,000 + bonus.

Working in a busy accounts team of 7, you will be in a key position liaising with Commercial Managers, Senior Stakeholders and Project Managers to ensure robust financial control.

As an experienced and qualified Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing, posting & reviewing monthly journals

• Delivering month-end processes

• Monthly management accounts

• Preparing & submitting VAT returns

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Supporting the external audit process, liaising with auditors and providing the required information

• Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting

• Conducting variance analysis on overheads and identifying key trends & cost drivers

The ideal candidate will be CIMA or ACCA fully qualified. Further experience with Sage 200 (or similar) and good MS Excel skills will be highly desirable.

You will be a confident & outgoing Management Accountant able to work across all levels of the business providing financial advice, guidance & data to support commercial decisions.

Based in Wimbledon (South West London / Surrey) they are within walking distance of the tube / train / bus station. Please note - this role is 5 days a week in the office with no work from home options available - please only apply if you are happy with this.
