Management Accountant

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Management Accountant for a growing organisation in Plymouth during an exciting period of change and development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys financial reporting, analysis, and partnering with stakeholders to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Produce variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Prepare month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Support cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight.
• Assist with audit preparation and other statutory compliance
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost control.
• Various reporting as required by the business

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or part-qualified / QBE with relevant skills and experience.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills; BI/reporting tool experience is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Able to work accurately and effectively to deadlines.
