As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and reviewing a varied portfolio of client work while supporting the development of junior team members. Working within a professional accountancy environment, you'll provide trusted advice to clients and ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements. • Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts and management accounts for a range of clients.
• Overseeing the completion of corporation tax, personal tax, partnership tax, and related compliance work.
• Providing financial guidance and identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
• Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and supporting their technical development.
• Assisting with tax planning calculations and wider advisory projects.
• Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant accounting standards and legislation.
• Supporting the wider team with technical queries and problem-solving.
• Contributing to the delivery of an outstanding client experience.

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience reviewing the work of other team members.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Experience preparing accounts for medium-sized businesses and group structures.
• Confident using a range of accounting software packages.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Desire to mentor others and continue developing professionally.

• Salary of £44,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
