Management Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant (PQ) who is looking for a chance to push up towards Financial Controller within the short to medium term with the support of a highly experienced Finance Director. This business has achieved impressive growth, is in a solid financial position and is looking for someone to be part of their next growth phase. This is an opportunity not only to take on a broad and responsible role but with scope to join the senior leadership team, develop the finance function, creating enhancements and driving efficiency.

Specifics will include:

• Presentation of the monthly management accounts and focus on developing improved MI
• Management of the budgets and forecasts
• Managing a small transactional finance team, assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements

We're looking for someone actively pursuing qualification (CIMA/ACCA) with a solid management accounting experience to date and a flair for innovation with a touch of entrepreneurial spirit. Previous staff management experience would be advantageous and experience within a construction related business is desirable.
