Description

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate coding of transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
• Provide support during the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Help identify areas for process improvement within the accounting and finance functions.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An eye for detail and the ability to handle financial data accurately.
