US Tax Associate Director

I'm currently working with a highly regarded professional services firm to hire a US/UK Tax Associate Director into its growing Private Client team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dual-handler to take on a leadership role managing HNW and internationally mobile clients, while playing a key part in the continued growth of a well-established practice.

• Manage a portfolio of US/UK dual-handler private clients, including HNW and cross-border individuals
• Oversee delivery of:
  • US individual tax compliance (1040s and related filings)
  • UK personal tax reporting
• Lead on advisory work across:
  • Cross-border tax planning and structuring
  • Residency, domicile and mobility matters
  • Wealth planning, trusts, and succession considerations
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver holistic client solutions
• Support and develop junior team members and contribute to team growth
• Play an active role in business development and client acquisition

• Strong experience in US/UK private client tax, ideally at Senior Manager or Associate Director level
• Qualifications such as EA, CPA, ATT, CTA or equivalent
• Proven track record managing HNW and internationally mobile clients
• Strong knowledge of cross-border tax issues for individuals
• Experience leading client relationships and delivering advisory work
• Commercial mindset and interest in contributing to practice growth
