The Management Accountant will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance department within a small finance team, overseeing financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions. Description

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage financial operations effectively.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and tools for enhanced reporting.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
• Have knowledge of working in a month end finance role - Essential
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills - Essential
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
