This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts and Audit Senior to contribute to the success of a professional services firm in Bristol. The role requires expertise in accounting and finance, with a focus on General all around accounts prep along with personal and corporate tax. The role will also involve a maximum of 20% working on audits.

Description

• Conducting some audits for a small selection of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Preparing financial statements and management accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reviewing and analysing financial data to identify areas for improvement.
• Supporting clients with tax computations and planning.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.

Profile

A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:

• Professional qualification in accounting, either qualified or part qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and tax computations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
