Company Accountant

HW Finance are exclusively partnering with a creative business in Harrogate who are looking to hire a Company Accountant.

Operating for over 20 years in their field, the business has grown and as such are looking to bring in a Company Accountant to work closely with the Directors and be responsible for all accounting aspects.

You'll be tasked with management reporting and designing systems and processes to deliver key information to the Directors, contributing to the commercial strategy of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing management accounts
• Maintaining accounting systems
• Managing budgets
• Reconciling accounts
• Liaising with external accountants
• Monitoring cash flow
• Providing financial analysis to support business decisions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

The role needs an experienced, hands on qualified/qualified by experience Accountant with industry experience, ideally in an SME environment.

You'll be a confident communicator used to dealing with senior stakeholders and having ownership of a finance function.

Salary up to £50k + benefits and please note the business work predominantly in the office.
