Assistant Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a fast paced and highly reputable business based on the outskirts of Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash book records.
• Prepare and post accounting journals.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries.

Requirements

• Studying towards or qualified in AAT Level 4.
• Previous relevant work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
