Job Description:

Recruit UK are working with a fantastic, friendly fun Financial Planning company in Newcastle, who are looking for a Paraplanner to join their team.

This role will see you working directly with experienced Financial Advisers who specialise in offering bespoke advice on pensions, investments and inheritance planning to High-net-worth clients. This role is open to Technical Paraplanners and Paraplanners who are currently doing the role but close to their last exam.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Create suitability reports following annual reviews and new business client meetings
  • Research products and preparing recommendations
  • Responsible for technical research, cash flow modelling, producing recommendations
  • Attending client meetings where appropriate
  • Client focus ensuring clients receive the best possible service every single time
  • Adhere to FCA regulations and ensure compliance

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience working in a Paraplanning position
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills
  • Knowledge and experience of all areas of financial planning - investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, estate planning etc
  • A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with a caring and quality
  • focused, customer centric approach
  • Intelligent with a strong technology and mathematical aptitude and excellent attention to
  • detail.
  • The ability to manage workflow effectively.
  • Preferably experience of, or keen to learn, cash flow modelling (Voyant)
  • Preferably experience of dealing with complex financial planning or high net worth clients
