Part Qualified Management Accountant

Our client is a successful and growing multi-channel retailer operating across e-commerce, marketplace, wholesale and retail channels. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA who is looking to develop their management accounting skills within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decision-making through insightful financial reporting and analysis.

Part Qualified Accountant - Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial analysis and business partnering across multiple areas of the business.

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Producing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analysing sales, margins and profitability across multiple trading channels.
• Producing KPI reporting and variance analysis.
• Supporting stock accounting and inventory reporting activities.
• Working closely with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight.
• Assisting with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiencies.

Part Qualified Accountant - Candidate Spec

We are keen to speak with candidates who are actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have gained experience within a management accounting, assistant management accountant or finance analyst position.

• Part qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Experience supporting month-end accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business.
