Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant High Wycombe Office-Based Immediate Start£30,000 - £32,000 (perm equivalent) or £15-£20 per hour 3-month contract (potential to extend)A high-growth, fast-paced retail marketing and production business based in High Wycombe is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support its busy finance function on an immediate basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on account professional, ideally with strong Sage experience, looking to join a collaborative team environment within a commercially driven organisation.The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, working across both transactional accounting and month-end processes. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger activities
• Performing bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
• Supporting month-end close, including journal postings
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting ad hoc finance tasks

About You

• Proven experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role
• Strong working knowledge of Sage
• Solid understanding of PL, SL and month-end processes
• Good Excel skills and high attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Candidates with experience in retail, marketing, production, or creative agency environments will be highly regarded.
