FP&A Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded FP&A Senior Analyst to join a highly reputable Bury St Edmunds based business.

This role will be responsible for delivering financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports, variance analysis, and management insights.
• Business partner across the company and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identify risks and opportunities impacting financial performance.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Monthly opex and working capital review and management.
• Analyse variances and provide commentary.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Key skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with relevant work experience
• Experience in FP&A / commercial finance related roles.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
