Global Accounting Network are partnering with a PE-backed Professional Services Firm who are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to lead them through their Group Audit and manage their Group Consolidation. This is an initial 6 month contract, based in Central London (3 days per week in the office). This is a hands-on role requiring a proven interim operator who will take ownership of the full group month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes. It is ideally suited to an experienced Finance Manager with a strong track record in group reporting and audit coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end group consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end management accounts.
  • Act as the primary owner for the group external audit - managing auditor relationships, acting as key point of contact, and ensuring all audit deliverables are met to a high standard and on time.
  • Take hands-on responsibility for technical accounting areas, including complex consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and group accounting policies.
  • Prepare high-quality group reporting packs and provide commercial insights to senior stakeholders and the PE board.
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen controls within the group finance and reporting function.
  • Support broader financial management and ad-hoc projects as required in a fast-paced PE environment.

Qualifications / Ideal Profile

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (essential).
  • Significant post-qualified experience in group reporting, consolidation, and financial management roles.
  • Proven interim experience - ideally 2-3 successful interim contracts as a Finance Manager or Group Reporting Manager.
  • Strong technical ability in IFRS (IFRS 15 experience preferred) and group accounting, with direct experience leading or heavily supporting external audits.
  • Hands-on, practical approach with excellent Excel and system skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - confident engaging with senior leadership and auditors.
  • Immediately available (maximum 2-week notice period preferred).
