Rayleigh £48,000-£56,000 DOE Full-time Office-based

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a busy, supportive practice. This role is ideal for someone confident handling year-end work and a wide range of accounting tasks.

You will take ownership of key accounting duties and support a varied client portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

• Year-end accounts preparation, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
• Payroll processing
• CIS returns
• Working across multiple accounting software packages: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
• Supporting clients and resolving queries in a timely manner

You'll bring strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

You must have:

• Comprehensive accounting background
• Experience preparing year-end accounts
• Payroll and CIS knowledge
• Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage

You will be:

• QBE, Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified
• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Preferably a car driver due to the office-based nature of the role

• Salary £48,000-£56,000 DOE
