The Role

A highly impressive, progressive Top 50 accountancy firm is seeking a Personal Tax Manager to join its growing Private Client Tax team in Norwich.

This is a client-facing role offering responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of private clients, delivering high-quality compliance services while supporting a range of advisory projects. You will work closely with Partners and Directors, acting as a trusted adviser to individuals, business owners and high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of private clients, business owners and high-net-worth individuals
• Reviewing and preparing personal tax returns and tax computations
• Providing advice on a range of personal tax matters including CGT, IHT and remuneration planning
• Supporting Partners on advisory assignments and complex tax planning projects
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering proactive advice to clients
• Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance obligations are met efficiently
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
• Reviewing work and delivering timely feedback

Ideal Background

• ATT and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong UK practice personal tax experience
• Experience managing a portfolio of private clients
• Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory work
• Organised, commercial and client-focused approach
• Comfortable managing deadlines and priorities
