An established and growing tax team is seeking an experienced Employment Tax Senior Manager to play a key role in delivering specialist advice to a diverse client base while helping to drive the continued expansion of a highly regarded Employer Services offering. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment tax professional looking to step into a more visible, advisory-focused position within a firm that is investing heavily in its people, services and future growth.

The Opportunity:

Working closely with Tax, Legal, Payroll, HR and Global Mobility specialists, you'll advise clients across a wide range of sectors on complex employment tax matters while building long-term trusted relationships. Your work will include:

  • Advising on PAYE, National Insurance and employment status matters
  • Supporting clients through HMRC enquiries, reviews and investigations
  • Providing guidance on benefits, P11Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements
  • Advising on global mobility and expatriate tax issues
  • Supporting employee share scheme compliance and reporting
  • Conducting PAYE health checks and risk reviews
  • Working with international teams on cross-border employment tax matters
  • Alongside client delivery, you'll mentor and develop junior team members, contribute to business development initiatives and work closely with senior leadership on strategic client projects.

About You:

  • CTA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience across employment taxes, PAYE and benefits compliance
  • Knowledge of global mobility, expatriate taxation and share schemes
  • Experience dealing directly with HMRC enquiries and investigations
  • A commercial mindset and ability to provide practical client-focused advice
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing junior team members
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
