Group Financial ControllerUp to £75,000 + BenefitsBolton - 5 days in the office An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and technically strong Group Financial Controller to join a fast growing, award winning business entering its next phase of expansion. Working within a dynamic multi entity group, you will take ownership of financial control, statutory reporting, group consolidations, audit management, compliance, and the development of robust financial processes and controls. This is a hands-on leadership role offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and Board level decision making.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end close and group consolidation process
Oversee statutory accounts, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance
Manage intercompany accounting and balance sheet controls
Support the setup and integration of new entities as the group grows
Drive process improvements, automation, and financial controls
Provide leadership and technical support to the wider finance team
About You:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Proven experience in a Group Financial Controller or senior finance role
Strong group consolidation and technical accounting expertise
Experience operating across multiple entities
Able to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
Construction, property, or related sector experience would be advantageous
