Assistant Group Accountant

Overview

I am excited to be partnering with a fast growing UK buisiness based in Leeds. They are actively seeking an Assistant Group Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone to really grow and develop.

Role

Support the Group Accountant in preparing and maintaining financial information, while gaining core accounting experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns
• Produce management accounts for group entities
• Process invoices and intercompany transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage payments
• Support cashflow reporting and debt tracking
• Reconcile supplier and intercompany balances
• Provide general finance support

Requirements

• Entry-level or AAT trainee
• Strong willingness to learn
• Team-oriented and proactive
• Basic accounting knowledge (preferred)
