A leading organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join its established finance team based in Goole. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful business that has a strong reputation across the market.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing customer accounts, reducing overdue debt, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the wider finance function in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Managing cash collections through phone, email, and customer relationship management• Posting and allocating cash payments across multiple currencies• Resolving payment queries and liaising with internal departments to remove account blocks• Conducting credit checks and maintaining customer credit limits and payment terms• Supporting month-end processes and finance reporting requirements• Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function

Requirements:• Minimum 5 years' experience within Credit Control• Strong communication and relationship-building skills• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities• Confident handling account queries and negotiating payment solutions• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel• Finance or Credit Management qualifications advantageous (e.g. AAT)• Experience using SAP, working with international customers, and managing multiple currencies would be beneficial
