Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOEHybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFHFull time: 37 hours per weekPart-time considered: 4 day equivalent hours with flexibility across the week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll and HR professional to join a highly regarded international professional services business within a broad and varied operational role.

This position combines payroll management, HR administration, and employee support responsibilities within a collaborative, supportive and fast-paced environment.

The role supports approximately 250 employees across multiple countries and would suit someone who enjoys balancing payroll operations with wider HR responsibilities while working closely with both employees and leadership teams.

Payroll expertise is the key requirement for the role, although the day to day operational workload includes significant HR administration and employee support activity.

You will work closely with payroll providers, employees, managers and the HR team to ensure smooth and accurate payroll and HR operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

• Managing monthly payroll processes across multiple countries
• Coordinating payroll inputs, approvals and calculations
• Supporting payroll compliance and year end activity
• Uploading payroll information to banking systems
• Managing pensions, deductions and employee benefits administration
• Handling payroll queries and employee support
• Completing manual payroll calculations where required
• Liaising with external payroll providers and brokers

HR Administration & Employee Support

• Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
• Maintaining HR systems and employee records
• Coordinating HR documentation and workflows
• Assisting managers and employees with HR operational queries
• Supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong payroll administration or payroll management experience
• Is highly analytical, accurate and detail focused
• Has excellent Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Has experience working across payroll and HR systems
• Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
• Can manage multiple priorities within a fast moving environment
• Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Enjoys process improvement and operational efficiency
• Is proactive, organised and adaptable

Exposure to pensions, employee benefits administration and wider HR processes would be highly beneficial.

Previous experience supporting HR activities or projects is also advantageous, and the role offers excellent exposure for someone interested in developing further HR operational experience with guidance and support from an experienced HR team.
