The role would suit an experienced Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant looking for their next step, or a finance professional who is qualified by experience. Importantly, our client is focused on finding the right person and experience rather than requiring a specific accounting qualification.The Role Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the production of management information and supporting the wider business with financial reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
Performing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end activities
Producing variance analysis and financial commentary
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitoring costs and supporting financial performance reviews
Supporting stakeholders across the business with financial information and analysis
Assisting with year-end audit requirements
Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance position
Strong month-end accounting experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good Excel and systems knowledge
The confidence to communicate with colleagues across different departments
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Candidates may be qualified, part-qualified, studying towards a qualification, or qualified by experience (QBE). What's on Offer?
