Accounts Technician (Semi-Senior Accountant)

We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity with an established accountancy firm based in Spalding, for an Accounts Technician. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, so is open within reason.

This is a crucial role, and we need someone who can hit the ground running. The role will be preparing year-end accounts, undertaking bookkeeping for a multitude of clients, and also payroll work.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients
• Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
• Supporting with tax compliance where required
• Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
• Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and deadlines are maintained
• Assisting colleagues within the wider accounts team as needed
• Process weekly and monthly payrolls, including pension submissions and RTI filings.
