Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their friendly and professional team.

This is a full time permanent position. Based in Exeter this role is Monday - Friday with no evenings or weekends.

The Opportunity

This role would be ideal for an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for a fresh challenge within a business that prioritises quality service over call volumes and corporate targets. Experience using Acturis and handling a broad range of commercial insurance products would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Processing new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
• Handling customer enquiries and providing expert support and guidance
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with Directors and colleagues to ensure exceptional service delivery
• Liaising with insurers and other key stakeholders
• Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and efficiently

This is a varied and fast-paced role, offering plenty of client interaction and the opportunity to become a valued member of a close-knit team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience within Commercial Insurance
• Experience using Acturis (desirable)
• A professional, friendly, and confident telephone manner
• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
• A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach
• High levels of personal motivation and attention to detail
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
