They are highly respected wealth management firm and seeking an experienced Technical Paraplanner to support a dedicated book of private clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with sophisticated UK and international clients and wants a position offering technical depth, client interaction, and long-term progression.

The Opportunity

As a Paraplanner, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and well-documented wealth planning advice. You'll work closely with advisers, act as a technical subject-matter expert, and support clients across a wide range of planning scenarios.

This is not a pure back-office role, you'll be involved in client meetings, technical discussions, and the full advice lifecycle, gaining visibility across complex client relationships.

The Role

  • Suitability report writing - clear, compliant, technically robust
  • Wealth planning research for UK & international clients
  • Completing annual suitability review letters
  • Ensuring clients understand the key features of the advice provided
  • Producing cashflow modelling and long-term planning analysis
  • Reviewing client risk-profiling reports
  • Supporting advisers with technical analysis and case guidance
  • Attending client meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions

What They're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner within wealth management
  • Level 4 Diploma (essential) with desire to achieve Chartered or Certified status
  • Ideally 3-4 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and external visitors

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the financial planning process and compliance
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work first time
  • Experience of report writing and technical analysis
  • Proficient with financial planning tools and modelling software
  • Confident acting as a technical point of contact for clients and providers
