A highly respected, independent financial planning firm near Watford has recently acquired a substantial client portfolio and is looking for an ambitious Adviser to take ownership of an existing bank of approximately 200 loyal clients with around £40 million in Assets Under Management.

The Role

As an Independent Financial Adviser, you'll take responsibility for an established portfolio while continuing to build lasting relationships through outstanding advice and service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing holistic independent financial advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection
• Managing and developing an inherited client portfolio
• Conducting annual reviews and ongoing financial planning meetings
• Identifying opportunities for additional planning needs and referrals
• Working closely with an experienced paraplanning and administration team to deliver an outstanding client experience
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all advice meets FCA and compliance standards
• Keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory developments

About You

We're looking for an Adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships and takes pride in delivering high-quality financial planning.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience as an Independent Financial Adviser within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
• Experience managing and growing existing client relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and professional approach
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Essential)
• CAS Status preferred
• Advanced qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
