An established organisation on the Fylde Coast is seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Assistant to support the finance team during a busy period. This is a short-term assignment of approximately 1-2 months, ideal for someone who can quickly integrate into the team and help clear a backlog of finance work. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and previous experience within a busy finance function.Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
Assisting with bank reconciliations.
Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Processing payment runs where required.
Assisting with month-end finance tasks.
Resolving invoice queries and liaising with internal stakeholders.
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team.
Helping clear a backlog of transactional finance work.
Undertaking general finance administration duties as required.
About You
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Administrator position.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Available to start at short notice.
What's on Offer
Competitive salary equivalent of £28,000 - £33,000.
