No previous experience is required. We will provide full training, support your professional studies, and help you develop the skills needed for a successful career in accounting and bookkeeping.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee Bookkeeper, you'll learn how to:

• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with data entry, purchase invoices and sales invoices
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support the preparation of VAT returns and management reports
• Use leading accounting software packages and digital bookkeeping systems
• Work alongside experienced bookkeepers and accountants while developing your skills and knowledge

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in finance, accounting or business
• Is organised and pays close attention to detail
• Has good communication and teamwork skills
• Is confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ideally has GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, although this is not essential
