We're partnering with a successful organisation in Leeds to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a highly visible role supporting a range of professional stakeholders.This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a spreadsheet all day-you'll be front and centre, partnering with demanding, detail-focused individuals who expect a high standard of service, insight and communication.You'll need credibility, resilience, and the confidence to challenge constructively while maintaining strong working relationships.The RoleAs a key member of the finance team, you'll act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight, analysis and support to drive performance and informed decision-making.You'll be expected to understand the detail, explain the numbers clearly, and provide a first-class service while navigating challenging conversations and competing priorities.Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Provide financial analysis, insight and support to aid decision-making.
Review financial performance, budgets and forecasts.
Investigate and explain variances, trends and key business drivers.
Challenge assumptions and provide constructive commercial input.
Deliver accurate and meaningful management information.
Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes.
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Proven post-qualified experience within a business partnering, commercial finance or management accounting role.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working with professional, detail-oriented stakeholders.
Resilient, confident and comfortable operating in a challenging environment.
Customer-service mindset with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Able to influence, build credibility and establish strong working relationships quickly.
