This person will be helping to clear a backlog of postings and get their accounts up to date. This role is based in Wallingford, OX10 9JR. This person has to be able to travel to Wallingford. Suitable candidates will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience, with significant experience with debits/credits, purchase and sales ledger, credit control and a full understanding of the balance sheet. Key Responsibilities:
Making journal entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
Clearing backlog on Sage
Filing source documents for all journal entries recorded
Posting journal entries to ledger accounts
Preparing trial balances
Performing bank reconciliations
Performing other duties as required
Onboarding and offboarding of clients
Raising client letters of engagement
Liaising with HMRC and Companies house
Filing documents correctly with HMRC and Companies House
Key Skills & Qualifications:
AAT qualified or qualified by experience
Significant Sage experience
Clear understanding of debits and credits, journal entries etc.
Strong communicator
Ability to work independently and with autonomy
