This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly respected independent accountancy practice based in Leatherhead, working alongside an experienced Senior Manager within a successful and growing tax team. You will manage a varied portfolio of clients, undertaking complex compliance work while gaining exposure to advisory projects, providing an excellent opportunity to become a trusted Tax Adviser.

Working with entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed businesses, partnerships, trusts and high-net-worth individuals, you will become a key member of the tax team, building long-term client relationships and helping clients navigate increasingly complex tax matters.

The Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing Corporation Tax and Personal Tax compliance.
• Managing a varied portfolio of corporate and private clients.
• Providing tax planning and advisory services across a broad client base.
• Advising on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, trusts, residence and domicile matters.
• Supporting business restructures, shareholder planning and property transactions.
• Assisting with HMRC enquiries and complex tax matters.
• Working closely with the Senior Manager to support the continued growth of the tax department.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver commercially focused tax solutions.
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add further value.

About You

• ACA, ATT or CTA qualified, or approaching qualification.
• Experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• A strong grounding in both Personal and Corporate Tax.
• Experience of managing your own client portfolio.
• Exposure to advisory work or a genuine desire to develop further in this area.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build trusted client relationships.
• Trust taxation experience would be advantageous, however it is not essential.

Package

A salary band of £55,000 - £75,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide and will depend on your experience. In addition, you will receive an excellent benefits package, hybrid working and ongoing professional development.
