Description: The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, business operating within a highly technical and service-focused environment.Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and commercial support to stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to accelerate their career within a supportive and progressive finance function.The RoleKey Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts in line with reporting requirements.
  • Deliver variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing meaningful commercial insights.
  • Produce contract and profitability analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management activities.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage VAT returns and other compliance obligations.
  • Develop reporting improvements and support finance process automation initiatives.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors, auditors and financial partners.
The Person
  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Strong management accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, inquisitive and driven to improve processes.
  • Strong Excel skills, with experience of Power BI advantageous
