Operational Finance Analyst

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to deliver accurate financial insights, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and support decision-making processes that enhance business performance.

Description

• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly manufacturing performance reports
• Track and report key operational KPIs, including: Labour efficiency, Yield and waste, Material usage variances, Production volumes
• Analyse manufacturing costs and investigate variances against budget, forecast, and standard costs.
• Provide insightful commentary on financial and operational performance.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and review standard costing models.
• Monitor and analyse material, labour, and overhead cost variances.
• Support product costing and profitability analysis.
• Assist with annual cost roll processes and cost updates.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts

Profile

A successful Operational Finance Analyst should have:

• Part Qualified/ Qualified (CIMA / ACCA)
• Proven experience in financial management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Offer

• Salary: 40,000 - 45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
