Inspire a high-performing team. Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a respected and diverse organisation based in Wolverhampton to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a well-established payroll function, taking ownership of payroll operations for more than 7,000 employees across multiple UK payrolls while developing a talented team and driving continuous improvement. This is far more than a payroll processing role. You'll be the organisation's payroll subject matter expert, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, governance and service delivery while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and enhance the employee payroll experience. The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you'll lead an established team of six payroll professionals and oversee the accurate, compliant and timely delivery of a complex payroll operation. You'll play a key role in safeguarding the organisation's compliance with HMRC regulations and National Minimum Wage legislation, while ensuring payroll processes remain efficient, robust and fit for the future.
