Accounts Administrator

Position: Accounts & Administration

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm Friday: 9:00am - 2:30pm

Salary: up to 31,356p/a

We are a well-established, family-run business with over 35 years of success and a close-knit team of approximately 12 employees. We are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts & Administration to support the day-to-day running of our office.

Key Responsibilities

• Inputting financial data using Sage Line 50.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and acting as the first point of contact, directing calls or dealing with accounts and administration enquiries.
• Creating invoices and delivery notes.
• Preparing DHL courier documentation and organising pallet collections.
• Chasing outstanding debts and maintaining accurate debtor records.
• Liaising with import couriers and handling customs documentation.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Processing the four-weekly payroll.
• Banking and reconciling payments.
• Providing general administrative support to the office team.

About You

• Previous experience in an accounts and administration role.
• Confident user of Sage Line 50.
• Strong telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a small, friendly team.
